Today’s One Year Bible Verses: Job 34:1–36:33; 2 Corinthians 4:1–12; Psalm 44:1–8; Proverbs 22:10–12
Every man, no matter how wise, makes errors and can never be our only source of knowledge and understanding. Even the wisest falls short of the glory of God.
Before we speak, we must ensure that it is truth—not just what we think is true, but truth tried, tested, and proven by God Himself. This is done by taking everything to Him first to validate and impart His true understanding and insight, humbling ourselves before His majesty and omniscience. Otherwise, we spout off “truth” mixed with error out of pride, and this is very dangerous and damaging to everyone—just like we see with Elihu today in Job.
So let us seek God in everything we say and do. Let us be the “fragile clay jars containing this (His) great treasure” (2 Corinthians 4:7, NLT), and He will make His “light shine in our hearts” (2 Corinthians 4:6, NLT) for the world to see! Hallelujah and Amen!

Action (5 minutes)
Pause → Test → Speak:
Before you text, post, or give advice today, stop for 60 seconds and pray: “Father, is this Your truth?” Check it against Scripture (start with 2 Corinthians 4:6–7) and ask the Spirit for one clarifying insight. If it’s mixed with opinion, wait until He gives you insight.
Short Prayer
Dear Lord, guard my mouth and humble my heart. Let Your light shine in my heart today and make me a faithful clay jar carrying Your treasure. Lead me to speak only what You confirm. Tell me what You want me to know and what you want me to do. Amen.
