Today’s One Year Bible Verses: Ecclesiastes 10:1-12:14, 2 Corinthians 8:1-15, Psalm 49:1-20, Proverbs 22:20-21

I want to encourage you in your work today. What are you building? What are you striving for? Where are you putting your seeds? “Send your grain across the seas, and in time, profits will flow back to you.” (Ecclesiastes 11:1, NLT)

Sometimes it feels like we’re throwing seeds into the unknown—wondering where they’ll land, whether they’ll take root, or if they’ll grow at all. I want to tell you: every seed you put out there, all your effort and striving, isn’t for nothing.

When you sow with God, you will see growth. You will see a harvest—“and in time, profits will flow back to you.” (Ecclesiastes 11:1, NLT) Keep going, friend. Never give up. You never know who will receive some of your seeds and what it could produce with God’s help.

You may get worn out, but keep your eyes on God so you don’t burn out—He will keep your fire lit and shining if you rely on His strength.

Whether you’re planting seeds in your home, family, job, new venture, or even your own heart—you will see great results and harvest much when God is planting with you. So, “plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.” (Ecclesiastes 11:6, NLT)

Action (5 minutes)

Sow 5 Seeds:

Write down five tiny seeds you can sow today (one for each “field”):

1. Home (encourage someone under your roof)
2. Family (send a blessing text)
3. Work/Calling (one faithful task you’ve been avoiding)
4. New venture (Is God calling you to do something?)
5. Heart (Ask God what seed He wants to plant in your heart today)
   Do them before day’s end and trust God with the return.

Short Prayer

Father, I place my seeds in Your hands. All of my effort and strength comes from you, Lord, so I ask you to bless all that comes forth from me. Keep my eyes on You, guard my heart from burnout and keep Your light burning bright within me and bring the harvest in Your time. Help me sow faithfully today—morning and evening. I pray in Jesus’ name, amen.
