Todays One Year Bible Verses: Genesis 28:1-29:35, Matthew 9:18-38, Psalm 11:1-7, Proverbs 3:11-12
Keep Asking, Keep Learning
God is not intimidated by our questions. He’s not annoyed by our curiosity. And He is certainly not threatened by our desire to understand. In fact—He invites it.
Nothing is too big for God. Nothing is too small. The God who holds galaxies in place also leans in when you whisper a question from a weary heart. He enjoys the conversation. He delights when His children come to Him—not just for answers, but for relationship.
God withholds nothing from us, but He does release truth in proper time. Why? Because timing matters. Order matters. Growth matters. If He handed us everything all at once, it could crush us instead of strengthen us. So we keep asking. We keep seeking. We keep walking with Him—step by step, truth by truth.
Jacob did exactly that. In Genesis 28–29, he obeyed his father and honored the covenant. He didn’t have the whole picture, but he trusted enough to move forward. And because of that obedience, God met him with a vision—a stairway reaching heaven. It wasn’t just a cool moment; it was confirmation. I am real. I am with you. And I have a future for you.God spoke truth, presence, and purpose into Jacob’s life at exactly the right time.
Fast forward to Matthew 9:35, and we see Jesus doing the same thing—traveling, teaching, healing. He didn’t limit His ministry to the “qualified.” He responded to faith. Anyone willing to believe and follow received truth, healing, and instruction. Jesus still operates that way. Come hungry, come honest, come willing—and He meets you there.
And yes, sometimes learning includes correction. Proverbs 3:11–12 reminds us that the Lord corrects those He loves. Correction isn’t rejection—it’s investment. God teaches us what is right because He cares deeply about where we’re headed.
Never stop asking.
Never stop learning.
Never stop walking with Him.
This is how we fulfill our plan with God—by staying close enough to hear His voice and humble enough to keep growing. 💎
Action (5 Minutes with God)
Today, take 5 minutes to faithfully seek God. Ask Him:
- “Lord, what do You want me to know specifically about this today?”
- Journal what He whispers by His Holy Spirit.
- Then ask Him, “Now, what do You want me to do?”
- Journal what He whispers – then do it!
Let today be a day of learning and growing with the Lord.
Prayer
Lord, thank You that I can come to You with every question, every wonder, and every struggle. Teach me without fear. Correct me in love. Help me trust Your timing and never stop seeking truth. I want to walk closely with You all the days of my life. Amen.
