Today’s One Year Bible Verses: Numbers 33:40-35:34, Luke 5:12-28, Psalm 65:1-13, Proverbs 11:23
God Is With You
The Gem of Knowledge God whispered to me for today was this:
“Continue moving forward with Me. Sometimes it will be pressing forward while other times it feels like flying. Just do it with Me and all will be well in the end. Amen.”
Walking with God is not always what we expect it to be.
Sometimes it feels steady, peaceful—even joyful. Like everything is lining up, doors are opening, and your steps feel light. Those are the moments when it feels like you’re flying.
But other times… it’s not like that at all.
Sometimes it feels like pressing forward through resistance, like you’re carrying weight and moving slowly, not fully understanding what God is doing or where He is leading. Tragedy, heartbreak, and hardships come in abundance, and in those moments we often find ourselves asking, “Why?”
But God already knows the pressures and pains we will face. That is exactly why He calls us to walk with Him—so we do not have to carry it alone. He invites us into a journey where He not only leads the way, but also strengthens us and carries the burdens that would otherwise overwhelm us.
In Numbers, the Israelites were constantly moving—step by step, place by place. They didn’t always understand the journey, but they were still expected to follow God’s lead and keep going. Forward movement with God wasn’t always easy, but it was always purposeful.
In Luke 5, we see two very different approaches to Jesus.
One man comes humbly, desperate for healing.
Another is carried by friends who refuse to let obstacles stop them—they climb a roof, tear it open, and lower him down just to get him to Jesus.
Different pace. Different path.
Same direction.
And both encountered the power of God.
This is the heart of what God is showing us:
It’s not about how fast you move.
It’s not about how strong you feel.
It’s about Who you are moving with.Psalm 65 reminds us that God is the One who waters the ground, prepares the harvest, and brings the increase. Even when growth feels slow or invisible, He is working beneath the surface—miraculously and wonderfully, in ways unknown and unparalleled to man.
How does a seed grow? We don’t fully understand it, but we know the One who does, and that alone should give us enough hope to keep waiting, pressing, and believing.
And Proverbs reminds us of a steady and unchanging truth:
“The godly can look forward to a reward…” (Proverbs 11:23 NLT)
There is a good end for those who walk with God.
So whether your journey feels like:
- pressing
- stretching
- waiting
or like:
- breakthrough
- freedom
- joy
keep moving forward.
Not alone.
Not striving.But with Him.
Because when you walk with God, every step—no matter how it feels—is leading somewhere good. Praise God! 💎

Prayer
Lord, help me to keep moving forward with You, no matter what the journey feels like. When it feels hard, give me strength to press on and peace as I look to You. When it feels light and joyful, keep me grounded in You. Teach me to trust Your leading even when I don’t understand it. I choose to walk with You—step by step—knowing that You are faithful and that the end will be good. Thank You for your unfailing love and faithfulness. I praise You and thank You in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
