Today’s One Year Bible Verses: Numbers 21:1-22:20, Luke 1:26-56, Psalm 57:1-11, Proverbs 11:9-11
Align Your Will With God’s
This morning while I communed with the Lord, He gave me personal instructions. As I write, I realize this is a key to the Kingdom—a secret to accessing His great power on earth—and I am to share it with you.
He said:
“Just keep asking, declaring, believing, doing… this is how you will see results in My Kingdom.”
We have full access to God and His Kingdom. Jesus gave it all to us and “finished” the work when He died on the cross. He sealed the deal. The Kingdom was established and the veil was torn.
Do you realize what this means?!
We have full access to God and all He has to offer.
Jesus said that when we receive the Holy Spirit we will have the same godly power (priesthood) that He has. He said:
“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.”
—John 14:12 (NLT)
Amazing! But there is a catch… Did you see it?
He said, “anyone who believes.”
Do you believe it?
In today’s Bible reading we see that most Israelites didn’t really believe it. This is why they kept rebelling again and again. But what happened when they did believe?
In Numbers 21:2 we see a shift. They “made a vow to the Lord: ‘If you will hand these people over to us, we will completely destroy all their towns.’”
Why is this important?
Because God had already promised them the land and instructed them to take it. So they were aligning their will with His… finally.
And what happened?
“The Lord heard the Israelites’ request and gave them victory.”
—Numbers 21:3 (NLT)
WOW!
They asked and declared, believing, and then they did it.
Ask.
Declare.
Believe.
Do.
But it only worked when their will was aligned with His.
And this is why these steps work.
Asking gives God legal jurisdiction and authority in our lives. He does not force His will upon us—we invite Him into our situation.
Declaring seals it with power in heaven to be done on earth. When we declare what God has spoken, we are agreeing with His will and releasing His authority.
Believing gives us access. Jesus said anyone who believes will do the works He did and even greater works. Faith opens the door to the Kingdom.
Doing is our obedience in producing it. Faith without obedience produces nothing. We must move forward and do what He instructs.
Ask.
Declare.
Believe.
Do.
When our asking, declaring, believing, and doing align with God’s will, His Kingdom power begins to move.
God’s promise was real, but Israel’s obedience affected how much they experienced of it. God promised Abraham land “from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates” (Genesis 15:18). The promise included far more territory than Israel has ever permanently occupied.
God did fulfill His promise to them, as we read in Joshua 21:43–45, but there could have been more if they had believed and obeyed.
But they didn’t.
Joshua 16:10 says:
“But the Israelites did not drive out the Canaanites living in Gezer.”
And in Judges we see what happened because of it:
“I also said, I will not drive them out before you. They will become traps for you.”
—Judges 2:3
So the land was given, but much of it was never fully realized because the people compromised and their will was no longer aligned with God’s.
But we see the opposite in Luke 1:26–56.
Both Elizabeth and Mary believed God’s promise. They asked, declared it, believed Him, and then moved forward knowing it would happen. Their will became aligned with God’s will, producing miracles and promises fulfilled.
God has a will for you and your life too.
He wants you to know Him, learn your true identity in Him, discover your calling and purpose, and fulfill it victoriously.
Do you believe it?
If you don’t, just ask Him.
If you do—great! You are one step ahead.
So what do we do?
We seek an audience with Him daily.
We ask His will for us that day.
We believe Him because we know Him and have heard it straight from Him.
Then we ask for it to be written in heaven and on earth.
We declare it is done.
Then we go do what He instructs us to do.
Miracles will happen.
Mountains will move.
And you will see victory from the Lord—
for His glory and the building up of His Kingdom on earth. Amen. 💎
Action (5 Minutes with God)
Today, take time to seek an audience with the Lord.
- Ask Him, “What is Your will for me today?”
- Listen quietly for His direction then write it down.
- Then, ask for it, declare it, believe it, and then do what He instructs you to do.
- Speak it aloud in agreement with Him. Then step forward in faith and obedience.
As your will aligns with His, watch how the Lord begins to move in ways you may not have expected.
Prayer
Lord,
Thank You for giving us full access to You and Your Kingdom through Jesus Christ. Thank You that the work was finished on the cross and that the veil has been torn so we can come directly into Your presence.
Teach me to seek You daily and to align my will with Yours. Help me to ask according to Your will, to declare what You have spoken, to believe Your promises, and to walk in obedience to what You instruct me to do.
Strengthen my faith so I do not doubt what You say. Give me the courage to act when You call me forward. Let Your Kingdom power move in my life as I walk in agreement with You.
May every victory bring glory to Your name and help build Your Kingdom here on earth.
I praise You, Lord! In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
