Today’s One Year Bible Verses: Judges 19:1–20:48, John 3:22–4:3, Psalm 104:24–35, Proverbs 14:22–24
Made Stable By Him
If we’re honest, there are times we don’t feel strong—we feel shaken. Pressed. Tested. Maybe even one hit away from falling apart. Life has a way of exposing just how fragile we can be when everything starts piling up at once.
And yet, the Lord speaks right into that place with today’s Gem:
“I alone will make you worthy and stable, able to withstand anything that tries to destroy you.”
It’s not you striving harder. Not you trying to hold it all together.
It’s Him.
The passages in Judges show what life looks like when God is not at the center—confusion, violence, brokenness, and complete instability. When people rely on themselves, things unravel quickly. What starts as small compromise turns into chaos.
And that’s still true today. When we try to be our own foundation, we eventually feel the cracks.
But God never designed you to hold yourself together.
He is the one who establishes you.
The psalmist reminds us of His power and order in creation: “O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom you have made them all” (Psalm 104:24, NLT). The same God who holds creation together is more than able to hold you together.
And Proverbs brings it even closer to home: “Those who plan evil are misled, but those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness” (Proverbs 14:22, NLT). When your life is aligned with Him, you step into His stability, His faithfulness, His covering.
When your life is built on Him, it doesn’t mean storms won’t come—it means they won’t take you out.
You may feel pressure, but you won’t be crushed. You may feel shaken, but you won’t collapse—because your foundation isn’t you anymore.
Your strength isn’t in your ability to endure.
It’s in His ability to hold you steady. Praise God! 💎

Prayer:
Lord, I can’t make myself stable—but You can. Strengthen me, establish me, and make me able to stand no matter what comes against me. You are my hope, my salvation, the Rock on which I stand. I trust You to hold me firm. Give me peace and a godly perspective so nothing can move me from You. Thank You for all You are and all You do. I give You all the praise and glory. I pray in Your mighty name. Amen.
