5 Minutes with God

If you’ve got five minutes, the Lord has something to say. Each devotional is an invitation — a spark from His Word to stir your heart. But the true treasure is in the Action: five minutes you set aside to be with Him. It’s there, in His presence, that the Holy Spirit fills your lamp with oil, transforms your heart, and aligns your life with His. This is your daily time with the King — not just learning about Him, but knowing Him, walking with Him, and being made ready for the Bridegroom’s return.

Short. Simple. Powerful. And really — it’s only five minutes. Who doesn’t have five minutes for the King?

These short, Scripture-anchored devotionals coincide with the Tyndale One Year Bible. Each day is a devotional created from that specific day’s verses and they include at least one passage of scripture, one clear insight, one simple action, and a short prayer—so you can walk with Jesus each day, not just think about Him.

  • The Time of Sifting and Burning

God’s refining process isn’t always comfortable, but it has a purpose. Sifting separates. Fire purifies. And sometimes God allows both to expose what doesn’t belong and strengthen what does. Paul said, “I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing.” (1 Corinthians 9:26, NLT) He wasn’t faking it or merely going through…

  • Will You Stand Up And Fight With Me?

Spiritual warfare is real—but people are not the enemy. We fight differently. We pray. We intercede. We stand on truth. We resist darkness. We forgive when bitterness tries to enslave us, obey when compromise would be easier, and exercise the authority Jesus has given us. And we don’t need to be afraid. Because we aren’t…

  • Where Does Your Allegiance Lie?

There’s a difference between believing in Jesus and knowing Jesus. When the apostles faced persecution, they weren’t defending an idea they hoped was true. They had walked with Jesus. They had heard Him, watched Him, experienced Him—and encountered Him alive after His resurrection. They knew Him. If a time is coming when our allegiance will…

  • Preparing For What Lies Ahead

The Lord give us sober warning of what will come. But, there is a difference between fear and preparation. Fear causes us to panic over what might happen; preparation draws us closer to the One who already knows what will happen. Like Nehemiah rebuilding Jerusalem’s broken walls, perhaps it’s time to ask God where our…

  • Now Is the Time

    Now Is the Time

Some things can wait until tomorrow. Seeking God isn’t one of them. We don’t know how much time we have, and Jesus never told us to fear His return—He told us to be ready. If you’ve drifted, come back. If God has been calling you deeper, answer Him. If you’ve never surrendered your life to…

  • Let’s Build It Together

Have you ever had an idea that seemed so big you immediately talked yourself out of it? Maybe you thought, “I’m not qualified,” or “Someone else could do it better,” or perhaps, “It’s probably impossible anyway.” How many dreams, ministries, conversations, and acts of obedience have died before they ever had the chance to live simply because we convinced ourselves they…
